Barberville Yard Art Emporium began as a small roadside produce stand in 1990 and gradually transformed into a three-acre outdoor retail spectacle. Giant recycled-aluminum animals, oversized dinosaurs, fountains, Talavera pottery, concrete figures, carved wood, teak-root furniture, mailboxes, windmills, garden art and other handmade pieces fill the property. Many aluminum pieces are custom-painted on site, and the collection changes continuously. The experience is closer to walking through a colorful open-air sculpture park than visiting a conventional yard-and-garden store.
