Sunspots Studios Glassblowing

Art-glass gallery, gift shop, on-site hot-glass studio, live demonstrations and staff-guided Blow Your Own sessions.

Finished glass is sold beside the studio where visitors can watch it being made and, during scheduled sessions, participate in one controlled step of the process.

Sunspots Studios occupies one downtown Staunton destination where a gallery and gift shop display art glass, copper and changing gifts alongside an active glassblowing studio. Live demonstrations are scheduled during a shorter daily window than the store itself. Scheduled Blow Your Own sessions let a visitor choose colors and blow into the pipe while trained staff prepare and handle the hot glass; current project choices include an ornament, small pumpkin or tabletop globe. Session availability can change and should be confirmed directly.
